Hi there! My name is Courtney, and I am the sole proprietor and all around gal of The Funky Lamm. Originally from Chester, Va I graduated with an advanced diploma from Thomas Dale High School in 1998 and went on to attend Richard Bland College for an Associate's in Arts.

I am an artist at heart, with a love of painting and poetry. I am no where near famous, probably better described as the girl next door, but I am very proud to have had my photography on the cover of the Thomas Dale literary magazine, "Squire" as well as poetry in RBC's "Mnemosyne".

Shortly after College, I moved to Virginia Beach to pursue a career in Property Management. After 6 long years behind a desk, I moved back to the tri cities area with my husband to welcome our baby girl into the world. I now live in Dinwiddie County with my wonderful husband, Niven, and our very animated two year old, Teagan.

I often dreamed of having my own funky lil' retail shop. With dreamy eyes and no more than a dime in my pocket, friends and family pulled together to make my dream a reality. Now open for business, I hope to spread joy, laughter and smiles with my vibrant, funky one of a kind inventory.
